Sam Suplizio Field, named the 2009 Colorado Sports Turf Field of the Year, is the home of the Mavericks Baseball team.  Suplizio Field is also home to the National Junior College Baseball World Series.  The 10,000 seat stadium is ran by the City of Grand Junction and is the quintessential college baseball stadium.  The field has sunk dugouts and bullpens down each line.  The stadium is also equipped with lights and a full inning-by-inning scoreboard.

Suplizo Field has held numerous RMAC Championship Tournaments and played host to the NCAA II Central Regional Championship in 2009, in which the Mavericks won en route to their first ever NCAA II World Series berth.
