Mesa State women’s golf team finished eighth at the NCAA Central Regional tournament in Lake City, MN held at The Jewel Golf Course. The three-day 54-hole tournament included nine Central Region teams.
MSC shot a team total 1005 (338-329-338), just three strokes behind seventh place Southwest Minnesota State’s 1002. Augustana College (972), Western New Mexico (979) and host Minnesota State Mankato (984) finished first through third respectively and will advance to the NCAA Championships next week in Mesa. AZ.
MSC’s Jennifer Hilts finished 17th overall with a three-day total 246 (80-84-82).
