Mesa State College head women’s basketball coach Roger Walters announced his first recruiting class as the Mavericks signed nine student-athletes for the 2010-‘11 academic year. Coach Walters, hired March 18, 2009, is coming off his first season at the helm of the women’s program. This years’ class includes four freshman, three sophomores and two juniors. Six of the incoming student-athletes are from Colorado.
CHRISSY ARMSTRONG

Was named all-State Honorable Mention 2008-09, 2009-10 and was named to the All Tournament team as a junior at the Colorado State Tournament.

SNOW COLLEGE: Was a two year starter at Snow helping the Badgers to a third place (08-09) and a fourth place (09-10) finish in the Scenic West Athletic Conference…Was nominated for Female Athlete of the Year at Snow College…Helped team win 20 games in 09-10 season…Was team captain, and won honorable mention all-Conference honors her sophomore season.
