Mesa State women’s golf team is in eighth place following day one of the NCAA DII Central Regional tournament in Lake City, MN. The three-day 54-hole tournament is being played at The Jewel course. The top three teams from each regional will advance to the NCAA Championship Tournament May 12-15 in Mesa, AZ.
Jennifer Hilts is tied for sixth after a round one 80 (+9) at the Par 71 course. Jessica Berve is tied for 26th with an 84 (+13). Kristina Casillas is tied for 32nd carding an 86 (+15). Brooke Jorgensen (88) and Michelle Stripp (90) are tied for 38th and 42nd respectively.
Emily Kvidera (Augustana S.D.) is the leader with a round one 73 (+2).
Round two begins Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. CST.
