Day One Results
Mesa State men’s golf team is tied for sixth place with a two-round total 612 at the RMAC Championships at the Poston Butte Golf Course in Florence, AZ.
MSC is tied with Colorado School Mines and are currently 32 strokes off the lead that UC-Colorado Springs holds after a two-round total 580. Host Western New Mexico is second (585) followed by Fort Lewis (591), CSU-Pueblo (599) and Colorado Christian (607).
Regis University (8th) is just three strokes back of MSC and CSM with a team total 615. Neb.-Kearney is in ninth (626) and Adams State is tenth (631).
The Mavs Eric Farmer is in 16th place carding a 79 and 72 (151) on Monday. Chris Shoop of UCCS is in first place with identical rounds of 69 for a two-round total 138.
Brandon Bingaman and Calen Hoppe are each tied for 22nd with 154. John Savage is tied for 40th (159) and Adam Golesh is tied for 44th (162).
The 10-team field will play a round of 18 beginning Tuesday at 8 a.m.
