The Mesa State College Nordic Ski team finished the season with a bang at the University of Wyoming's Cowboy Chase. After winning first place in the women's 10km Skate on Saturday, the Mavs finished the season strong in Sunday's 10km classic race, with 2nd, 4th, and 6th place finishes. This was the final race of the Rocky Mountain Conference regular season, and Mesa State finished with three women ranked in the top ten conference rankings. Brooke Bosman finished 3rd, Kelsey Follett finished 6th and Silvia Moelk finished 7th.
Mesa's sole male skier, Tre Anastasia finished the season in the number 4 ranking, dropping from #2 after missing the last race due to illness.
