Katie Cupp earns All-West Third Team Honor

Junior guard Katie Cupp was named to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-West Third Team after wrapping up her first season at Mesa State.
Cupp transferred to MSC from Oklahoma Baptist and led the Mavericks this season in assists (89). A local standout at Grand Junction High School, Cupp averaged 8.2 points and 4.8 rebounds for the Mavericks. She started all 26 games and recorded a career high 16 points in the Mavs last game of the season Saturday night versus New Mexico Highlands.
