Sophomore guard earns academic honor

Sophomore guard Alaina Brennan was named to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Academic Honor Team announced by the RMAC office.
Brennan, a local standout from Central High School, earned academic recognition with a 3.33 grade point average in nursing. Brennan is coming off her top performance this year recording her first double-double, 17 points and 10 rebounds, in the Mavs 70-59 win over UC-Colorado Springs last Saturday night.
To earn RMAC Academic Honors, a student-athlete must have a grade point average of 3.30 or better, is a starter or key reserve and have completed two consecutive semesters or three quarters at their current institution.
