The 5th ranked Mesa State Mavericks are looking to win an unprecedented 6th straight RMAC Championship and were selected to do so in the Preseason RMAC Poll.
Mesa State, who went to it first NCAA Division II World Series last season, was picked to win the Mountain Division with New Mexico Highlands 2nd and 2nd overall in the poll. CSU-Pueblo was picked to win the Mountain Division and 3rd overall.
The All-RMAC Preseason team was also announced featuring returning All-American Kevin Becker. Becker hit .468 last season and will look to lead the Mavericks this season. Regis Ranger outfielder J.T. Putt was named Preseason Player of the Year while New Mexico Highlands righty Drew Vassil was named Preseason Pitcher of the Year.
