Mesa State women’s swimming & diving team is ranked 19th in Division II in the latest meet power rankings.
The Mavericks wrapped up the fall season posting a 10-2 record including first place finishes at Colorado College and Adams State. MSC placed second at DI Air Force Academy and a third place finish at the Denver University Relays.
Annie Rhoades, a redshirt freshman from Fort Lupton, CO became MSC’s first national qualifier in the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events. Rhoades qualified at the Rocky Mountain Invitational in Golden the weekend of October 16-17.
MSC is the highest ranked Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference team. Associate RMAC member in swimming, MSU-Moorhead is ranked 10th, the University of Incarnate Word is ranked 14th and Grand Canyon University is ranked 21st.
MSC will compete at the Grand Canyon University Invitational on January 2.
