Mavs Rally to Beat CSU-Pueblo

picked up her second victory in her second start at the NCAA Division II Central Regional pod tournament at Regis University Softball Field in Denver Saturday afternoon. The Mavericks beat CSU-Pueblo 8-3 scoring seven runs in the final four innings to remain the only unbeaten team. MSC advances to the championship game and will face the winner of CSU-Pueblo and Colorado Mines Sunday at Noon. The winner of the CSU-Pueblo and Colorado Mines game will have to beat the Mavericks twice on Sunday in the double elimination tournament.

Softball Upsets Metro in Regional Action
Three consecutive doubles to lead off the ninth inning propelled the Mavericks to a 3-1 upset win over Metro State College at the NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament Friday afternoon. The Mavs extra-inning victory was the first win over Metro State this season in six meetings.
